It is important for me as a doula to meet with parent(s) before the birth to establish a rapport. As I would be present during the labour and birth, whilst supporting the parents during the more intense part of the labour and provide emotional support for all three immediately after the birth, and I will also visit the new family at least twice after the birth.

I will, meet with you twice prior to the birth for antenatal visits as well as unlimited telephone calls and emails to offer you support.

I can assist in helping you write a birth plan so that you can make clear decisions about how you would like your labour and delivery to happen.

I can show you breathing and relaxation exercises to assist the different stages of labour
